Welcome to the 5 second club, Steve

Without going any rounds in the actual event, Steve and the crew were able to come out of the event with an renewed faith in the car and their hard work over the past 12 months trying to get a car to behave and travel the 1320 feet down the track. Steve was able to pilot the Crown Security Cuda to a new personal best in elapsed time and finally made it into the ever-allusive 5 second club with a 5.911 at 237mph. The excitement and relief was visible in the crews celebrations on the line when the time was presented after the run. The event was a long slog for the team as we were able to run 5 times before getting the magical number. Thanks to the sponsors for your continued support.
